Less than you think…

Some time ago I was interviewing for a new position at work and the manager introduced me to the idea that it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert in a field. This was based on their reading of Malcolm Gladwell’s “The Outliers”.
I never read the book, but the idea stuck with me.
Today, I learned something different that changed my thinking…and I’m so glad I did. In fact I’ve already got one learning project in mind. If you haven’t seen this TED talk – I highly recommend it:
